Start with the chocolate. It works every time.
“I really can’t accept,” Elisa insisted, finding her voice at last. ”Really…I didn’t do anything that special.”
Why did she get the feeling he was amused at her being flustered? Blushing a little in frustration, she bit her lip and sighed heavily. She really didn’t know what to do in this case. Was he flirting with her? But he hadn’t been at the Gala…
Her head was now hurting.
“You took down three trained ninjas on your own,” he pointed out. “I would certainly call that special.”
She’s pretty when she’s flustered, Puck said in his mind, her voice merry. Flirt with her. You could use the company.
I don’t flirt, he retorted silently. Aloud, he only implored, “Please.”
